Due to a no-show, Olympian and new LVAC coach Steve Mocco agreed to a last-minute appearance to face Lehigh's Zach Rey at the 2nd Adam Frey Classic at Alumni Gym at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ on July 17. The 2-time NCAA champ won the 4-minute exhibition, 1-0. Along with instructional clinics put on by college wrestlers and coaches, there were 13 bout featuring top current and recent collegiate wrestlers.

In two other big draws, 3-time All-American Hudson Taylor of Maryland beat 2010 NCAA 184-pound champ Max Askren of Missouri, 2-0... in a battle of former 2-time NCAA champs (now assistant coaches), Indiana's Joe Dubuque won 3-1 win over Matt Valenti of Penn and the LVAC. In his video, Rey delivers ample evidence of the significance of having Mocco in town.
